Lagos AI Summit — Event Platform & Sponsorship Site
A high-impact landing site and sponsorship deck for one of Lagos's flagship AI conferences — designed to convert prospective sponsors and surface speakers, agenda and registration in a single fast-loading experience.
The brief
The Lagos AI Summit needed a web presence that did three jobs at once: convince sponsors to fund the event, convince speakers to apply, and convince attendees to register — without losing any of them to a slow, bloated site.
What we built
- Conversion-led landing page — hero, value prop, tracks, schedule, ticketing.
- Sponsorship section — tiered packages, in-kind options, and a downloadable sponsor deck.
- Speaker showcase — bios, talks, social links, and an apply-to-speak form.
- Agenda & tracks — schedule grid, with filtering by track and speaker.
- Lightning-fast performance — static HTML output, sub-1-second loads on mobile.
How we built it
We chose pure static HTML/CSS/JS — no framework — to keep the page weight under 200 KB and the time-to-interactive under one second. Imagery is in modern formats (WebP/AVIF) with eager loading for the hero and lazy loading for the rest.
Outcome
A web presence that reflected the ambition of the event itself — with the load-time and conversion characteristics that any flagship event deserves.
